Experimenting...

A new lens arrived today... very exciting. I've been dithering and dithering about a prime and finally made my mind up to go for the Canon 28mm 2.8 IS. I got it at a great price from flashcamera, who are based in Fife, and decided to go for it.

It didn't arrive until midday which was when I then had to rush out to meet someone for lunch and then rush over to meet someone else for a meeting at the National Library at 3pm! By that point it was raining and dark and I had no opportunity to try it out properly. Galling.

So this is a hasty test shot, taken while applying lipstick and getting ready to leave the house.
