Short and Sweet
It's great what a bit of blue sky can do.
With chief cook and bottle washing duties completed, mud scraped off the bike, oiled and greased, adjusted, tightened then reluctantly packed away all shiny and ready to go, Samantha dragged herself out of her sick-bed and said she'd like to get out for a bit of fresh air. Poor sod's been stuck indoors for a week so, wrapped up against the cold we headed up the Sheriffmuir road and took a short walk up the lower slope of Dumyat and watched the sun set beyond Stirling.
The (very) fresh air must've had a energising effect on the Mrs as she's now craving a burger and chips. With cheese. And Barbecue sauce. So, Mickey D's for a Kid's Meal it is*. Yet another Rock 'n' Roll Saturday night for the DWD household.
*As I'd forgot to take the food out the freezer to defrost for tonight's dinner, kind of glad she suggested that. Chief cook fail.
