Oh no, not again! (apologies to Douglas Adams)

Rather a sad photo today.

I went along to Joppa (along with what seemed like most of Edinburgh) to see the dead whale that had beached there. It was being attended by the police, coastguard and animal rescue.

Apparently it will be taken off the rocks and onto the beach further along where it will be examined to try an determine the cause of death.
