Absolutely beautiful.

Our day started slowly - beginning with breakfast in bed for me. Boiled eggs from our own hens - they've started laying again!!!!! In to town for a coffee as per every Saturday. And as it was such a gorgeous day we headed off to the coast with the dogs.

Gorgeous weather and it was amazing what the storms had done to the sea defences. the large pebble banks that formed the sea defences were now in the field behind. The beach was largely unrecognisable. The power of nature!

The field behind the beach was flooded - probably with sea water. But it was so still and the light was so good, the reflections were amazing. After taking this picture and checking no-one else was taking photos, I did throw a pebble in to watch ripples. Immediately after, someone appeared to take photos. The ripples lasted for ages!! oops. Sorry.
