Last View this chilly afternoon

Early this morning the day started in grey drizzle. I made a wakeup walk around the pond nearby. Some coots in the dark water startet to cluck as they approached the redcapped stranger standing at the white railing. Somewhat confused they made a U-turn as the man didn't bring some tasty breadcrusts. Instead he made himself smaller and taller, rising up and down, in a bizarre way. Kind of greeting ritual among some urban tribes...perhaps.
In the afternoon I spend a marvellous time down at the beach. Wild seas, dramatic kitesurfing. Deep sailing and gulls in gliding acrobatics. Dancing on the chilly winds.
Then, in leaving my playground, by chance I looked over my shoulder: Ah!
