The Summer Feast

What a great day! Kaz went to Brisbane early this morning for work. I tidied up the house then Spence went to Brent's house for a play.

After lunch we all went to Teddy's 6th birthday party which was at a new waterpark in Golden Beach. We had such a great time! It has 4 water slides and a giant bucket that slowly fills then empties and spills a massive amount of water at once. It's like the one at Wet N Wild without having to drive for 2 hours! The kids had a ball!

We left there, came home quickly then went to Kath and Greg's new house in Buderim. They have two daughters, Imogen and Jaime - Jaime is in Spence's class. Their house is beautiful! It's split across three levels with amazing views out, five bedrooms and an amazing media room that is like a cinema!

Kath cooked a fantastic meal called The Summer Feast out of a cook book then we put the kids to bed and we went down to the media room and watched The Hobbit! It went to midnight but was great! Kaz and I hadn't seen it but the second one has just come out at the movies so Kath and Greg wanted to see it before seeing the second one!

Chris and Leona come tomorrow to stay with us for 2 weeks which is exciting.
