Memories From My Childhood

What a great day! My son Sam had his birthday party today with his school friends. 11 loud and excited 5 & 6 year olds hit Pizza Express by storm to make their dough balls and pizza's. They had a great time, I doubt the people who came in for a quite lunch appreciated it as much though.

After this carnage my wife fancied a rest, so I took off in search of some moving water that I seemed to remember from my childhood. I went to Carshalton Ponds, thinking that when I was younger we fed the ducks and then walked down the path and over a bridge, which was next to a small waterfall (if that's it's proper name...not sure if it has to be a certain size to be classed as one). Anyway, I was right and it was there in all it's glory. The only problem was that I'd left it a bit late in the day, so I was fighting between the darkness coming in and the last bit of light leaving the sky, which just so happened to be right in front of me. Not to worry though, I was just chuffed I'd remembered it and managed to find it.

Now I'm home and ready to have some dinner and a well deserved Corona. Cheers!
