Sunset

Spent the morning with mum helping her with some housework and getting some shopping in, then it was time to drive home.

If I'm honest I didn't want to leave her and saying goodbye this time was very difficult.

The sun shone very bright for our journey back, and when the light hit the wet road it was dazzling. The sun set was pretty good as well.

Our drive home was uneventful, the M6 allowed us a clear run home. All the way back there were messages that salt spreading was taking place - didn't see one spreader on any road, hope they do get out there as the cars were frosting over and it was getting much colder as we drove into the street.
