Meeting William Wallace
Today was a good day. It was beautiful but cold. We had Lucas, our 6 year old grandson for a sleepover and I took him into town for his Portuguese lesson (his mum is Brazilian). He and I had coffee first and then he went to his class and I took the time to go blipping and try to find out what is really blippable in Edinburgh. I captured a few shots that I was pleased with but eventually decided to blip William Wallace because he is not always there and all of the other shots were repeatable. He was very engaging and had a great line in patter. He is a drama teacher but was doing this for children with Leukaemia. Afterwards we had a lovely lunch at home and happily moved on from our period of abstention from wine. In the late afternoon we went on to see Twelve Years a Slave which was superb but harrowing.
