8:30am and reading in the livingroom while the wee-estWeir catches up on some missed-overnight sleep.

This cracking example of my favourite fiction book was one of many astounding great birthday gifts. Unbelievable how awesome they all are.

Today has been restful, even with some dog walking and a cycle with my newly-bicycled brother-in-law. I took the recently-repaired Boardman out for the jaunt to give us a chance to get reacquainted.

Grateful to get the time to clean up NewBike later this afternoon using the new bike maintenance stand. Less back pain and more repairing, I hope.

Lots of leftovers and oranges today too.

Feel like I've been in holiday for a week.
