Dreich day!

From Oct 1 to Dec 31, the normal amount of precipitation recorded at the Victoria International Airport is 374 mm. In 2013, 137 mm was recorded. Driest 3 months in a century. Seems like we're making up for it now, which is likely a good thing.
I'm not motivated to go outside at all, so this blip is possibly as dull as the weather!

I rarely bake, but I made a cornmeal and pear cake this morning. I made this awhile ago, forgetting that I no longer own a cake pan. Oh well, a casserole dish works just as well. It smells delicious in here. :)
