There's a joke in alpaca world, that if someone asks "Do your llamas spit at people?" we answer "Only those who call them llamas." Anyway...alpacas are generally very gentle creatures. They don't spit at people unless you really annoy them, but they will spit at each other, especially at meal time, when they get their grain. Here, Percussion is giving Diablo fair warning with a gentle snort, which if Diablo doesn't take heed, will turn into a "brotherly love" spitting match.
