The Lodge At Night

Saturday is cleaning day at the lodge. This week's visitors aren't arriving until tomorrow so that gave us the chance to go back to Amber Nook tonight, replace a light bulb and see if the stars were out.

I got some shots of Orion but I want to save that view until I get a clearer sky. A recent visitor made me aware of how special it was to find darkness so, over the next few months I will try to go out to the lodge and get some night-time shots that might inspire city dwellers to holiday in Cumbria with us.
