Children's heads should smell nice, but over the past couple of days I've had to remember to not sniff the wee one's head after it was daubed with coconut oil in a misguided attempt to ameliorate his cradle cap. I don't know if it's the natural smell of the oil or the effect of the scalp fauna gorging themselves but it's resistant to wiping off, so will probably remain until all the polluted skin is shed naturally.
