Flooded!

There has been a lot of flooding here in Oxford, as there has been for many all over. My prayers are for those coping with damage or who have had to move out.

First choir back, how great... I don't enjoy the rush out the door on a Saturday but it is definitely worth it once we get there.

Came home to help repair our fence that had fallen down. Need to dig 2ft (not sure what that means) down to put in post... Only trouble is got to dig into the concrete that was holding the old rotten post. Think that R Sr., who is pessimistic by nature was driven a little bit crazy by his wife who is the eternal optimist

We went to seethe hobbit pt2 this eve thanks to wonderful godparents having ours for a sleepover.

Salt and light was today's study, reminded of Jesus Culture concert and how light doesn't have to work hard it beats darkness so if I stand close to God in His light and by His Spirit and grace reflect His light the world will see God better. Yes please for that.

Lord, give me the courage to stand close but also to stand out in this world.
