Sunset on a good day

Busy day today, Amy has come up to visit :)

We woke early to do parkrun (free weekly time 5k run in the local avenue), I only managed to do 21 minutes, still a sub 20 5k eludes me; more practice needed. Amy did really well in her second run, I'm glad she came with me.

Subsequently, we then went for a walk along the promenade and visited the 200 or so volunteers helping to sweep the sand and pebbles off the road and walkway. Without a brush or a shovel we were unable to help, and I doubted the University or my flatmates would have been too impressed if I brought the house brush along.

After an hours Octopush training, we decided to walk up Constitution hill to watch the sun set, really vivid colours, even this early in the year.

Now we've just come back from dinner in the Starling Cloud restaurant down the road; a decent end to an exciting day :)
