By the forest stream

Into the Forest of Dean today, walking by the Cannop ponds, which were in turn still and glassy, interconnected by gushing streams, bursting with run off after the recent rains.
The boys waded or tried bridge the stream, Ella held on to puppy Eva, while Farmingemma clicked and snapped. And so did I, thinking this scene was a little reminiscent of Cartier-Bresson's photo of the family picnic by the river...
