'The Golden Hour'

Backblip #1

We headed off this morning down to Princetown and arrived at lunchtime. Had a bite to eat at the local general store right next to the campground we were staying at. Dylan had his first ever Cornish Pastie and loved it, although he did have tomato sauce all over it.

We set up camp and headed for a drive down to Peterborough where the local market was on that night. The kids had a play around on the beach and we had some lamb souvas for dinner which we ate sitting down on the sand.

Quite a warm 33 degrees today, but cooled down nicely late in the afternoon when a cool change came through.

After dinner we headed back to the Gibson Steps for a late bit of beach play and watched the sun set. Here is Dyls standing on the beach just as the sun was about to leave us. The kids loved running away as the waves crashed on to the beach.
