Spot the difference competition!

I blipped this view in June last summer.
today I was entranced by how warm the colours from the sun were as the sun was sinking - I'm not sure if I got that across... I have realised that even after only half a year it is getting hard not to take images that are very like previous ones.

today I went shopping with Fred ( outstanding!) He bought us both new boots :-) (his were to replace expired ones - mine were lovely fur lined lace ups to replace high heeled narrow-toed ones which I just can't wear any more).

We had lunch on the High Street and then dined out in the evening in Topes retaurant which is twice in as many months - great! - we usually only go there a few times a year. Lovely food and we staggered home looking at the moon and stars as it was a really clear night.

Our faith in the fact that good warm boots will be needed was justified when we could see the the first hard frost was settling - poor campers! - Alex did take plenty of thermals, fleeces and a top rate sleeping bag and he's young...
