The other side of the fence
After a delicious meal and a delightful evening spent with Technofobe and Loose canon (and other non-Blippers) yesterday, we felt we needed a walk this morning, so headed to that great metropolis of Stratford-on-Avon for a stroll down by the river.
On our way back up into the town I spotted these lovely apples, which were glowing in the morning sunshine. They were in New Place Gardens which is the site of Shakespeare's home for the latter part of his life. The large hedge is there of course to stop riff-raff like us from having a free look, but the garden next door to this one is free to enter and is beautiful, so I may find my way back there in the spring when there are more flowers about.
