Treeton Dyke

We have been orienteering in the woodland around this lake, Treeton Dyke, this morning and this was the frosty view which greeted us on arrival at the carpark. Remembering the advice from a seasoned blipper, I blipped it immediately instead of waiting till after my run. On the walk to the start we passed beautifully frosted reeds along the lake edge but by the time I had finished my run, the frost had disappeared and the light changed so I was glad I had heeded the advice.

Tomorrow I get to try out my new cycling gear, woo hoo! The Dep. head will be pleased, he has been threatening to burn my old jacket for some time, guess it lowers the tone!

Great sunrise at the end of our street this morning!
