"Taxi for Rex......"
Meet Rex - my 'fluffy nephew'. He was cruelly abandoned by his last owners who left him behind when they moved so my sister took him in.....and has been paying vets bills ever since but he is worth every penny (easy for me to say - but he really is ;o) After a quick and rather hilarious trip to the vet with Rex, my sister and I popped to The Range to 'buy a £4.99 doormat'..........£85 later I have 2 rugs, some card crafting bits, a lamp that was going to go on my birthday list but ended up in my basket in some 'freak accident' so I had to have it and a picture frame.....oh and the doormat.
Had to then tidy and hoover my flat to put my new wares out and spent a cosy evening whizzing through 'The Voice' - I can't bear the whole thing - and 'Take Me Out'.......if the girl who had the following conversation gets a date before me I will shoot myself....
announcer .....'And here's Dave from Henley on Thames'.......'are you welsh then??' 'er no, from Henley on Thames'.......'where's that then'. This was probably what prompted a tweet asking if there was any chance 'Take Me Out' could involve a sniper!!
Thought for the day - “Happiness often sneaks in through a door you didn’t know you left open."
