From my garden

I decided to walk around my garden and find today's blip. Well I was amazed at what I found - fungi, interesting plants I hadn't seen before - but, alas, my photos were mostly blurred. Time for a rethink about focusing.
This frangipani flower on a paving stone caught my eye. I like the different textures.
Tomorrow is getting back to normal week after the long Christmas break. Schools start on Wednesday.

A shock statistic - our road accident death toll in SA for the holiday period from 1st December to 7th January is 1357. Shocking. Mainly from drunken driving and speeding. It takes the fun out of travelling over the holiday period.
