Beeston castle, in the morning light

An early Sunday morning following last night at Peckforton castle, a medieval castle built just 170 years ago! A thank you from K 's old boss, with her old colleagues for all their hard work last year. Thus a cracking meal in an old wine cellar ( just ours do we could be rowdy) and a few glasses of wine.

This morning however, a chance to clear the head with 5 miles running to Beeston castle across fields covered with frost. Then back for the slap up breakfast we'd earned! There is a nice feeling walking into breakfast and knowing that you have earned the bacon, eggs etc!
