With the cooling fan removed, and put to the side, you can see the radiator like fins that it blows through. Dust and other debris collect here, so whilst apart I'll give it a cleaning out. Helps prevent it overheating. The dust can build up to the extent that there's a felt-like layer across the fins. At that stage the User should notice the fan is running a lot longer, and more frequently than it used to. I say, should notice...
