When the sun goes down...
and the clouds all frown,
Night has begun for the sunset.
See it with your eyes,
Earth's re-energized
By the sun's rays everyday.
Moody Blues
A very pleasant evening last night - the food was fine but the company especially good. We ate, played silly games and finished off with a quick session with Robert on his melodeon, Finola on an improvised shaker made out of a kilner jar full of lentils and Tim on a washboard, which I just happened to have, waiting for that very opportunity!
Wet and windy morning so we both worked on various things inside then ventured out for a walk once the skies had cleared. There are still many sightseers coming to look at the wrecked road and to rummage around the flotsam and jetsom. All we saw were masses of plastic - bottles, bags, crates, tubes, but Wilhem had been before us and was clutching a bag full of assorted candles, whilst his son had found a fish shaped bread board with silver tail and mouth. We walked around the headland and marvelled how the rocks had been displaced and thrown up on the shore. We hope for a sunset but dramatic clouds welled up and then the rain came.
When the sun goes down ... I haven't heard this for a very long time!
