Rydal Water...

We had a lovely walk around Rydal Water and Grasmere today - indeed it was the walk we wanted to take Will, Hope and Ricky on at Christmas to show Ricky the delights of the Lake District - but unfortunately the weather put a stop to all walking plans.
It was bad form of me to call yesterday's picture 'The Lake', as those eagle-eyed viewers will have realised that it is Ullswater - and so not a lake. Just as Rydal and Grasmere are not lakes. Maybe I will venture to Bassenthwaite and take a blip of the only lake in the Lake District.
