Peaceful Morning

I took a slight detour on my usual morning walk with the pups. The sun had already risen but was playing peek a boo with the clouds its rays brought a warming glow across the slightly frozen pond where the three swans had grouped together, two of them dipping their beaks in hunting for sunday breakfast while the third was keeping an eye on what I was up to . The muted colours from the sun,s rays and the swans gently swimming around gave a tranquil feel to the morning.
