First Frost

I went to Hatfield Forest today, a National Trust place close to Stansted Airport. However, despite the sunshine and crisp air, I wasn't feeling the love. Everything seemed too uniform; very little stood out, photographically speaking. The forest is heavily coppiced, which might account for some of it.

I only took a couple of tree photos, which are far busier with twigs and branches than I would like. Everything else focused on frost, fungi and lichen. This shot is a close-up of the frost on the back of a bench.
