BlipaEwan 22...

This is my monthly track of my children as they grow to see how they change as time goes by. I try to get them on the same date of each month (the one year ago thumbnail has proved a brilliant tool for this series) and in the same pose so that I can see how they change over time.

We thought Ewan might not have caught the Chicken Pox from his sister. Her's was on it's way out when and she'd stopped being contageous for about a week when out of the blue we had a spotted son. Ewan dealt with it really well. He looked like he was going to get it quite bad and certainly his torso was a fair bit spottier than Bethany. Apparently each subsequent sibling gets chicken pox worse than their elder. He had a couple of restless nights but all in all got through it not too bad.

This month was also a new sense of freedom for Ewan. We had 2 stair gates in the house. One at the top and one at the bottom so when he's upstairs, he stays there and likewise, when he's down he stays there. We figured he's never gonna get used to stairs if he never gets to use them so we're down to one gate and it's over their bedroom door so there can be no sleep wandering in the direction of stairs. So far, no huge tumbles.

Oh, nearly forgot. This is a rare glimpse at Ewan's photo face. When asked to pull this, he usually only does it once and once only. If you miss it, you've missed your chance for a couple of days.
