Scenes from everyday life

At the London Wetlands Centre

This morning the weather looked promising so Clare and I set off for the London Wetland Centre in Barnes.

However, when we arrived an hour later after heavy congestion on the South Circular Road, the skies had darkened and it was a dank, dreary, January day.

So much so, that after less than an hour we were on our way home. Just time for a brisk walk round half the site: even the birds were looking frozen.
