yay dolphin!

Today was a good day, mostly because I saw a dolphin.

Went out with AK wildlife cruises to explore the coast looking for interesting seabirds and hopefully a cetacean or 2. Well we only saw the one. But a dolphin is a dolphin.

It had a huge chunk out of its fin which in the pre-trip ramble the skipper told us was an individual called 'hobnob'. It was cold because we were sat on top, seemingly as official reps from the tremough birdwatching group...

Headed back and got ready for the 90's party, finished my windows 95 costume and queued like an hour before opening as to make sure we got in since none of us were prepared enough to get advance tickets. But we got in, and it was a lot of fun!
