Science lesson in the kitchen

My daughter has been showing an interest in science recently - she attended the "Mad Science" after-school club last term, and is starting to take an interest in how things work. We're keen to encourage this interest, so today my husband gave her a spontaneous science lesson in the kitchen, talking about elements and molecules. They then had a go at building some molecules out of Lego.
