Seawall Sisters

Off to The Dengie Hundred early this frosty morning. Many of the country roads hadn't been salted. Quite a few 'moments' in my RWD Honda S2000 sportscar.

We went to the marshes in two cars. My sister from France was in mine. It's not really suitable for off-road and she was frightened but we made it to the sea-wall.

We had a lovely walk in bright sunshine. I shot oystercatchers, brent geese and egrets.

The concrete sea defences by The Shallows at the mouth of the River Crouch are covered with lichen and in the area where my pic was taken, moss also.
