spate in the Hopyard

the treacherous freeze of the past week put us in mind to get outside, further afield, now the thaw has come. These are the Chapman Falls at Devil's Hopyard State Park. There's still some ice to be seen around the edges. I expect they were quite an icy sight a few days back, if you had the nerve to drive to them on the hilly woodland roads. A lovely woodland walk followed by lunch at the local casino. A fun change.
