Difficult times

My mother is 87 years old, and Ásgrímur her husband is 90. They have been married for 14 years now. This autumn he was diagnosed with cancer, and has been at the hospital for the last 4 weeks. His body is getting weaker, but his mind is still sharp. My mother drives to the hospital every day to visit him. I live in another part of the country, and find it hard to be so far away during this difficult time in my mother's life.
