One On One

Well it was Hockey night in Edinburgh tonight me and Sandra went to Murryfield Ice Rink tonight with tickets to see Edinburgh Capitals play against Hull Stingrays in an action packed game and the in the 1st period when Edinburgh equalised Sandra stood up to cheer only to be told to sit down by a old lady supporting Hull who missed the goal well if your a Hull fan you wouldny want to see your team lose a goal I guess the old bag has not encountered a hyped up Canadian Hockey fan lol so 1-1 at the end of the first and by the end of the second Hull were 2-1 up then in the 3rd period it went 2-2 then 3-2 Hull and with just under 2 minutes left Edinburgh pulled the goaltender and managed to get another equaliser and just before the end of the period no 36 for Edinburgh a Canadian lad from Alberta took a sore one in the face after a team mate took a shot that hit him in the face to which a Hull fan behind me started laughing the guy was almost out cold so I turned round to the Hull fan and gave him an earfull what a twat no matter what you never want to see any player go down after being hit in the face with a puck thankfully he ended up ok, anyway it went to Overtime with no goals in that and it went to a shoot out with 3 players from each team and after all three from both teams had went it was 2-2 so it was now sudden death in the shoot out with both teams trying to get the elusive winner and unfortunately it went to Hull in the end but and enjoyable night and a little chilly I bought A Capitals Hockey top as a souvineer and I think Sandra has got the bug again for her favourite game this blip is during the sudden death shoot out with the Hull goaltender poised as the Edinburgh Capitals player skating in to try take his chance but alas he didn't make it this time anyway movie for the day is "Slapshot 1977" See Ya
