Trying to decide where to go for the day and settled on Lincoln...
After stopping off for breakfast in a lovely cafe, we walked up Steep Hill to the Cathedral.
This building never fails to take my breath away as you turn the corner at the top of the hill. The sheer size of it is immense and you just have to marvel at the architecture. It`s majestic.
As we walked in I was struck by the light of one of the magnificent stained glass windows shining on the stonework of the wall opposite...
Had a really lovely day and topped it off with an impromptu meal out at our favourite Indian restaurant..
