signs of life

went out for a short photo walk with my wife. wanted to shoot some signs of life in this cold winter. it was overcast and grey most of the day. didn't have much to shoot but just as i was headed home, the sun peeked out for a moment as i happened to walk by a small pine tree. this was the last shot i took before i headed home.
