Bryn Athyn Cathedral

Sunday brings the focus of my week to a single moment of time. The weekly 9am service at our church.

Today like every other week was surprising, tiring, and exciting. The music planning, the art design, the rehearsal and finally the worship were all combined in an act of offering.

Afterwards there is the post service meal which is usually followed fairly closely by the post meal nap.

Late this afternoon we attended my grandson's basketball game before heading home to crash for the night.

As we made the drive home we passed a favorite sunset spot and my eye caught a different angle then usual. After a quick turnaround, and a lengthy run, I managed to get a few quick silhouette shots off as the light was fading.

Smile moment: Leading our closing song this morning and feeling the engaged energy coming back from the congregation. It's a blessing when you get it right.
