Haw River

In 2010 I went to a weekend retreat in the woods with the other UNC Orientation Leaders at Haw River State Park and played team-building games and the like. I don't remember much but I do remember that it was wonderful.

This weekend I am attending the same retreat, but this time I am here as a professional staff member. It's bittersweet to be here again with a team that isn't my original team, but this retreat has been so warm and fulfilling, and I am genuinely excited for and admire these students whose names I barely knew before yesterday.
