Arrival in Andalucia

Up at the absolute crack of dawn (well 6am at any rate) to get a taxi to take myself the good lady wife and the in-laws to Newcastle Airport for a week in a villa in Andalucia. Flight was the standard EasyJet affair arriving 10 minutes earlier than planned. The weather was, well to be cheesy, SCORCHIO!

Long drive up to Alcaucin from Malaga but I was neither driving nor navigating so it was a breeze. Villa turned out to be much more remote than I had anticipated but very well equipped. We all took a trip to the local SuperSol (14kms away!) for some shopping and we sat down to relax with a few bottles of Rioja and a nice Paella and watch the Sun go down.

And then sleep...
