I'm only a cat

Who is this girl before me? I don't think I've seen her before. Her face is smaller then the others, her eyes a sweeter brown. She definitely not like the others her hands are not as clean and soft. She's probably been out playing with the horses and maybe even running in the stream.

She's so much wilder then the other girls.

I think I heard her crying last night. But when I went to see her she was asleep. Why is she hiding her sadness? Why is this innocent girl hiding her pain?

I wish I could talk to her and tell her she has earned my love but alas I am only a cat.
