The final result

The Heliconia flower has opened up a lot from when I blipped it initially on 27th December -such a big difference.
Another hot day here - I did manage to do a bit of weeding in the garden and a bit of watering but even at 5pm it was still too hot to stay out for too long. I retreated indoors for a cool shower and a glass of something cold (and sparkling and no, not soda water:)
