Tibbles sleeping, which is exactly what I wanted to do all day.

I was up nice and early for work today - it was such a struggle to get through the day, but I managed! I don't really remember much of the shift, but I do remember that I finished my book during my lunch break. I've been reading American Gods by Neil Gaiman for a few days and while it took me a while to get into, I ended up loving it. I'm going to try and work my way through all his books this year - my tentative goal is 50 books this year, which is a bit less than one a week. We'll see how I go! I'm one down with forty nine to go...

This evening was pretty quiet. I watched The Royal Tenenbaums and I really loved it - such an exquisitely weird film. I particularly liked Ben Stiller's character and his two sons with their matching tracksuits. So cute.

Whenever Dad gets up off the couch you can guarantee that Tibbles will be there to take his spot. It's pretty hilarious.
