Decorated tree

I took a photograph of this tree last week, but I chose another blip, so I went back another day and re-shot it. I wasn't happy with the lighting of the second shot, so I went back gain today to try again. The thing that attracts me about this tree (quite near my office) is that from a distance it looks like a tree in full blossom - but when you get closer you realise that the branches and twigs are festooned with a bearded lichen that creeps and drips over everything. Quite strange.
