And they did fall on my head, big time. Got very wet very quickly. Not so wet as our youngest son who was helping out with geophysical surveying today for the first time and wasn't able to wear anything with metal. So, that rules out all his wet weather gear and warm clothes. It needn't have but he wasn't organised enough to make sure he had non-steel-toe-capped boots (so got wet feet), or waterproofs with no zip! Needless to say tomorrow he will call in and pick up appropriate gear.
