Time honored tradition

I found myself at my niece's baby shower without my camera. I drove over the Cascade Mountain range to get to this baby shower and left my camera neatly packed up on my desk in Bellevue. I was so disappointed.

I gave my cell phone camera a whirl. I did capture this special moment when the mom-to-be received a beautiful handmade quilt from her sister. What a treasure!

It was wonderful to be part of this time honored tradition of celebrating the new mom and her baby.
