Are Ewe Looking At Me?
After the snow yesterday there followed a hard frost but as the day dawned there was a milder feel to the air. The clods were heavy and it really looked like more snow was coming our way so I took the chance to go and walk. The frost had lifted and the snw only remained on the hills surrounding the village but looking to the south there was a break in the cloud and a brightness that gave rise to a false sense that it would remain a nice morning.
I watched the buzzards but they remained elusively out of the range of my lens as if they were taunting me, but I am sure I will get them again....eventually. The ewes were considerably more compliant and as I turned for home this group caught my eye through the screen of the beech hedge, just a few remaining leaves with the branches provided what I though was a pleasing composition but maybe that's just me, arty is not my strong point!!!! I walked with my friend, although they are so very far away they are always on my mind and although I walked alone like i do most of the time I never feel lonely.
Tomorrow is another day and I hope it is a good one for us all, I hope you enjoy the shot today
