Katy dressed top to toe in Grandma's gear ...

Sorry ... I got so busy replying to comments, last night, that I failed to post this photo of our beautiful daughter Katy sporting 'vintage' clobber courtesy of her Grandma and our great house clearance work. Love the whole effect. I never remembered Ma looking like this!! Sorry it is so fuzzy though.

Mum seems genuinely relaxed about letting go of so much stuff. It is a real lesson to all 3 of her daughters ... we all have a bit of a problem when it comes to books! I brought back 3 more carrier bags of them - they are still sitting on the floor of the sitting room. My sister has taken a second car load to their Oxfam book shop and there is still a bookcase in the house full of fiction, poetry, history and bird books. None of us could bear to sling out the 1950s Encyclopedia Britannica that we all used for our homework as little'uns. Dad got ot 2nd or 3rd hand no doubt ... so that is staying out too.
